Thank you for taking a moment to learn a little about me. I have been a hairstylist for over 30 years (longer if you consider doing my friends hair in high school). This is all I have ever wanted to do, and I still find it exciting, challenging and fun!

Every year since 2006 I have attended training courses at the Vidal Sassoon Academy. Each course involves working with live models and instructors who challenge me to perfect my techniques and refine my approach to hair. Even though it is intimidating to put myself and my abilities under such intense scrutiny, I always learn something new and come back even more invigorated and inspired.  I also attend other courses throughout the year offered by instructors that I admire and respect. Each one offering new insight and perspective to add to my repertoire.

I love all hair types but curly hair has always been near and dear to me, not only because I have curly hair, but also because I just find it so incredibly beautiful and so much fun to work with. Working with curls can be challenging and I believe that’s one of the reasons why I have such a strong following. I welcome the challenge.
